Corey and Jehada Love Story

Corey and Jehada met in 2014 and while neither of them remember meeting each other, there are pictures that prove otherwise.

In 2019, while scrolling through Instagram, Corey realized he followed Jehada and thought she was beautiful. He watched her post pictures of her travels, friends and family. He decided he wanted to know more of her and proceeded to direct message her asking Jehada on their first date. While living in Arkansas at the time, Jehada expressed that she would not be home until the holidays and they could go out then.

In December of 2019, Corey and Jehada went on their first date. They both had a wonderful time but the timing was off. Jehada flew back to Arkansas and Corey never forgot about how wonderful she was. Jehada also thought of Corey often. They both made an effort to stay in contact.

In March 2020, Jehada moved back to New Jersey at the start of the pandemic fearful that she could not be with family. They both continued to reach out on holidays & birthdays, but the timing was still off.

On January 5, 2021, after leaving the gym, Jehada decided to reach out to Corey and see if he wanted to go out for drinks. Corey on the other end of that text was ecstatic to have drinks with Jehada. That night, they laughed and smiled and connected over one of their favorite dishes; sushi.

From this night and every night onward they spoke everyday and were together every weekend. Corey had made it very clear how serious he was about Jehada. They dined and traveled and became the best of friends in a matter of months.
